To all those who did not make it and to all those who kept them running so there are some still left on the road.
I actually felt a little bad about that one. When I got to it, she had just been dropped in the yard and was absolutly complete. It was like Grandma and Grandpa's car. Interior was complete and had just a small tear in one bucket seat. Good paint and no dents. The front end had been recently rebuilt. It seemed like someone tried to get it to pass smog and just gave up. I think it had less that 100,000 on it. No rust. I took the rear end, entire power steering, floor shifter, retractable seat belts, battery box, bucket seat supports, gas pedal, horn mount, tinted back glass, tinted vent windows, nuts, bolts, washers and, of course, the roof. To get the belts out I had to cut the sills. When I cut the roof, she just folded in half. I then cut out the shock towers for the added suspension supports that did not come with my '71. By the time I was finished, there was a front bumper, and an engine laying on the ground with no connection to the body. It was kind of sad. May she rest in peace but will live on in my '71.
