Header collector too close to the ground...

    The collector looks good to me from what I can see..
    I was just now wondering if the collector can be made differently. Maybe lay the tubes 4 inline instead of in a bunch.. :hmmm: (per side of course)

    Yes, you can do that with a flat collector...................but you are going to have redesign the whole header to get all of the pipes side by side. Normally if you wanted more room......the NASCAR racers have flat collectors because of lack of space, but the entire exhaust system is designed around the flat collector.................you just can't hook all of the individual pipes up to a flat collector without redoing the header......you would have to start from scratch............

    Yea. That's what I was imagining.. And I did figure a custom header would have to be made.. I am thinking if I were to ever be so fortunate as to get to make some I would consider the flat..

    A taller front tire would help a lot. I'm running 215-60-15's, taller than those 205's you have there. I've probably got 1" or more ground clearance than you have.....
