I kinda got ahead of myself when I said Denso makes a short plug, they are listed as a short style but I compared them to some normal NGKs and they're not really shorter.
Ohh I forgot to mention that I had to use 4x studs & longer bolts with the spacer + two gaskets
I got stainless hardware from my near by ace hardware store

but here are the pics 20150610_182506.jpg 20150610_182557.jpg 20150610_182611.jpg
The one tube that's really flat on the third picture is because I didn't realize that it was going to interfere with the steering box until it was in the car. Tried to fix it, ripped a hole in it, and had to pull it out to patch it anyway lol

I used Accel P-526S plugs which are a good bit shorter than stock plugs. BUT they were $13 EACH!!!

Yeah I'm waiting to buy a set till after I get my timing & carb set so I don't ruin them. I couldn't believe $13 either:eek3:

    Maver88,
Where did you find the 3/8" header flange to use as a spacer?

I cut the tubes off the stock explorer manifold and used it

I was able to order a 3/8" flange from summit that will work fine. Thanks
