    I had a 78 Skylark with a 500ci in it and it was insane. I also had a 75 Caddy with a 500 in it and it was smooth and awesome.

    I like a little car with the maximum engine scenario. Hemidarts, Thunderbolts, 454 Novas, 396 Camaros...

    Yea, I had a 75 eldorado convert. with the 500, and it would smoke the front tires.

    Welcome, and in my 36 years of Mavericking I have never even heard of a caddy powered Maverick, very cool.

    Sounds like it, but I did purchase in Murphy NC. either way it is a cool car.
    It does have a very straight body.

    Im 100% positive its the same car.murphy isn't far away from me and were the car was for sale previous. I hope you will be able to give it the attention it needs.

    Oh I will, it is my first Maverick but I will give it a good home. I have started with a lot worse. I think this project will be fun.:)

    Kind of a silly question but is the 500 motor a fast motor? im only imagining that it will smoke the rear tires 1/4 pedal.
