    A little background on me...

    I'm 28 years old. My father passed away when I was 19. He was in the process of restoring a 71 Maverick. After he passed, my mom gave the car to me. Unfortunately, I have neglected it for far too long. I recently began putting some serious money into the thing. I'll be posting a topic in the project car section soon. I want to get this car to the point where my dad would be proud. I'm glad I found this site and I look forward to interacting with everyone.

    :Welcome: from Atlantic Canada! I think I saw your other thread, too. Judging from your avatar, it looks like your Maverick is a Grabber, or at least has a Grabber hood? Hopefully we don't have to wait too long for pictures! I think what you're doing with the car is GREAT, and I'm sure you'll make your father proud!! I know EXACTLY where you're coming from. ;)

    Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Yes, it is a grabber. By the time I get home tonight it's going to be dark. I'll drive it to work tomorrow and take some pictures there.
