Hey yall. thanks for having me!
I am a painter, hot rodder, motorcyclist, musician from Austin (the old Austin, not what ever it has turned in too) Anyway, thanks again!
I have an opening a question about seat belts in a 76 Maverick maybe yall can help me with, This car has been sitting for a long time, but is a 1 owner car and is in great shape (with exception of the Earl Schibe paint job from about 1986) and the seat belt problem..
The owner hated the shoulder harness and cut the webbing shortly after purchasing the the car new.
I am now trying to restore it and would like to put the OEM style belts back in it..
There are 2 retractors per side, one for the shoulder harness and one for the lap belt.. both are tucked in to the rocker panel on a fancy cad plated plate.. Anyone know where I can get replacements?

There are places that can reweb and fix your seat belts. It will be very expensive. Otherwise....if you want OEM...look for used.
