    1970 Grabber Maverick
I'm new to this forum. I purchased a 1970 maverick about 2 weeks ago as near as I can tell it might be a grabber maverick it has all the right parts but it could be a clone. Not really sure but don't really care it's just cool ya know.

Anyway I'm wondering if there is a difference in the transmission cooler lines between 70 and 72 . I can find the lines for a72 to 77 but not for a 70 . I'm wondering just how different they are if at all. Yes I can just make my own but I would rather not, I'm lazy in my old age.

Looks like you have a 1970 Ford Maverick Grabber.

You can use the 1972-1977 transmission lines. Some minor tweaking may be required.

You can get new pre-bent transmission lines from: www.RightStuffDetailing.com

Looks like a Grabber, but no Grabber grill? Or was that not available until '71?...

The all black grill pictured is the correct grill for a 1970 Ford Maverick Grabber. It was also the same grill used on a 1972 Ford Maverick Sprint.
