Hello from Virginia Beach! Just recently acquired a 1971 Grabber and gave it to the wife as a Christmas gift. VIN verified as a true Grabber with 69k on the ODO. According to the numbers she is I6 but has a 302 transplant with a C4 transmission. She was running rough but smoothed her out and made her safe/road worthy state inspection wise. She does need work here’s what I see: 1. After the 302 transplant I believe they didn’t use none of the v8 engine/tranny brackets and mounts, resulting in the header slapping against the steering gearbox....I got a handle on that one. 2. Suspension is tired and needs refreshed. ....and the ones I will be needing ALOT of help with 3. Electrical.....I have a shorts everywhere, surfing lights, voltage jumping all over the place, non working lights then they do. It’s not good. 4. Dash/cluster work...... Well I got long winded, sorry!!! I will be asking and searching for answers. Thanks!!
