What are you running right now Zaperboy79? Does yours have a 302 in it already? If so alot of horsepower is left on the table buy not having it tuned properly. Alot of power can be found by setting up your initial and mechanical timing properly. A stock 302 would probably run good with around 10 degress BTDC intial and then set up your mechanical advance to be all in by around 2800-3500 and go up to around 34-38 degrees.
Don't worry about your vacuum advance, if you have it, until you get the mechanical fixed. Then if you have adjustable vacuum advance you can tune it while driving it around and adjusting it until it spark knocks on a lugging hill then backing off until it stops

Thanks 1badmav, I'm thinking 289-302 is the way to go. I have a 351w I could use and I know that would getherdone but may be overkill for my daughter. If I get to build me one I'll use the Windsor in it.
Going to drag the trailer down the road this morning and look at another one a friend called me about. It's a 72 and sounds like it's in good shape with rolled leather interior. 200ci auto. Manwants $350 firm for it. If it looks half as good as he says it is it'll go on the trailer.
