With the sticker and VIN being exactly 100 different, I'd say those chances were near zero...

Plus you couldn’t hide it, I've never seen a clean one, some are better than others but they are all a mess and what I call (hazardous to your health). I don't know the technical term mid-shell clip?

Let me make sure I understand this correctly, I have seen shells butt welded and reinforced mid-shell, some closer to the a-pillar and some closer to the c-pillar. If this is what we are talking about, yes, I have seen a few of them. I worked in the industry when I was younger and I can tell you first hand (IMHO) I wouldn’t buy or own any of them.

Now, if we are talking the front clip past (in front of) the a-pillar, seam welded into the frame rails or full tube, then that’s whole different story…

Although we all have different experiences, that’s my personal preferences and I’m sticking to them!

Not a clip job. The data sticker on a 2-door is stuck on the door jamb. The data sticker on a 4-door is stuck to a metal plate, then the metal plate is rivited directly to the front driver's door.
