    Thanks again for the votes!

    This past weekend I attended a pretty large car show in St. Ignace, MI with a friend who had his '85 Olds Cutlass in the show (saw one steel gray Maverick (looked like a huge engine with maybe a blower) driving around, but not in the show). Had a great time, and on the way back stopped in the Gaylord, MI Wal-Mart and "finally" found a Hot Wheels Maverick Grabber!!! It was one of the blue ones, were they the first ones out, or were the yellow ones the first ones out? I'll still be on the lookout for a yellow one, but finding one kind of topped off the weekend!

    Not really sure how big the contest is, the sponsor is a local area bank, the car event is for Pt. Huron, MI, which has a population of about 33,000. From what I've been told, this thing draws in a pretty big crowd from the surrounding area (I've never attended it before). That being said, it would be cool for a "Maverick" to lead the parade....

    I want to thank again everyone who voted (some managed to get several votes in!) and I'll let everyone know who the winner is on July 5th.

    The parade is Friday evening (July 9th) starting at 6:00 PM. There is a car show the next day in down town Pt. Huron. I'd really like to go to that as well, not sure my three kids will be up for it though, we'll see how it goes. They have a web site for the event: http://www.bwcruise.com
