I evidently don't read them well at all. Mine left over 11 years ago and hasn't been replaced....yet.

i haven't installed the nitrous. Cannot justify the extra money to stick it in (AN plumbing stuff). Wouldn't cost a bunch, but right now, sinking money into the boat to keep it fun.

We also recently bought a house, which happens to be MUCH closer to Houston Motorsports Park 1/4 track, and we live about 5 miles from a different 1/8 track. I need to at least get to the 1/8 and run the car as is. I never have run it on the new engine.

All women are different. If it were me, it would mean I was having a great time, but hey my family is kinda messed up. It typically is me wanting to burn rubber and hubby sitting white knuckled in the passenger seat prayer for sanity.

It sounds like you both had fun, but she would have enjoyed it more if it were her in the driver's seat... :thumbs2: :D

As far as understanding women, the best piece of advice I ever got on the subject was: "If Momma ain't happy, ain't no one happy!" :thumbs2:

He also said to listen TO what they are saying, not AT what they are saying or just what you want to hear.

He got married in his teens and lived well into his 90s, still married to the same woman up until the night he passed in his sleep, so I think he knew a thing or two about relationships.

Yep, I joke around about almost everything except my faith and anything else that is of a serious matter. When it comes to understanding the ladies, I think it is as easy or difficult as you want to make it. They do think differently than men but then if they didn't most of the world would be nothing more than a large amusment park visited daily. I know in my household it is my wife that brings me back to earth when i get to far out there. She is probably the best women that I could have ever found to spend my time with because she has a lot of the same desires I do except she seems to keep some boundries set as to how much fun should go into life. There are some serious items that need to be kept in order. I quit trying to read her because I can without a doubt tell you that if I rub her the wrong way, she "WILL" let me know.

    Great thread.

She was having a good time, otherwise she probably would have let you know right after it was over.

    Men tend to think logically.
    Women tend to think emotionally.
That is a huge reason for the split in viewpoints in many relationships.

Same thing as every other time she rides in it... "So, when are you going to paint it?"

Scooper , it sounds like she definitely enjoyed the ride .

My girlfriend wants me to fix my car because almost everytime we go for a ride it slides side ways, I told her it can`t be fixed. :yup:

Scooper, I'm right there with you on the paint. Mine was in primer of several shades when I got it, at least it's all gray now. Still trying to decide on paint or maybe using a vinyl wrap. After going to a few shows and such, I may just leave it primer to avoid all the work of cleaning and detailing:rofl:
