Never mind, just answered my own question, checked out the list of your stable of vehicles. Now I'm a bit green again...

My brother PaulS has 2 Mavericks also. A 72 250 cu in & 73 302 cu in. I live with my brother at present. So the street looks like a Maverick/Comet dealership. LOL Lets see, I have 2 Comets & 2 Mavericks, my brother has 2 Mavericks & we have a Maverick parts car. Wow!!!! A total of 7......WooHoo!!!!!! Now, if we could just get the 6 cars to the Roundup next year (lookout Kentucky!). Next year, it might be "Washington State Rocks!" LMAO

    :slap: :bananaman :bananaman  (y)

As far as I know, it has always been in Washington State. All 4 of my cars have been up here all there lives, except the 74 4dr (Arizona). They were all kept in garages. Virtually all rust free cars. I just have gotten lucky, most were original little old lady cars. Somehow they found me. The 4dr Comet & Grabber came to my work to ask if I wanted to buy. The Sprint emailed me & asked if I wanted to buy. He had seen me & my cars at the last Mini Meet. I'm just at the right place at the right time.

Coop, I would say you are pretty fortunate then, I don't know about WA, but here in Ohio a lot of cars have rusted out long ago because of the road salt they use in the winter.

I think it's pretty cool that your brother has a couple as well!!

You know Coop, we sometimes give you a hard time when you bring another one home but we love you and your hobby. I sure am glad you never told them about the mustang in the garage... OOPS!

Now I will have to get it on the road too - but I still get the garage to park it in!

It very seldom snows here in Seattle. It mostly rains all winter. When we do get snowfall, they use sand on the roads not salt. I know all about the salt on the roads. I was born & raised in Detroit. Left at 18 to join the Navy, have only been back to visit. Still have lots of relatives there. I even have a Aunt & cousins living in Liberty Center, Ohio. They own the Allen Chambers Tractor Center (or is it John Deer?) can't remember. But, it's the only place in that little hick town. LOL

Hey Mavaholic! Would you happen to have 2 armrests in blue for a 72 Sprint? These need to be replaced or recovered. Where did you find the white headliner? Would you happen to have an extra blue dash pad also?

I dont have any blue arm rests. You'll probably have to dye some. The headlinner came from the guy who did my upholstry work. They are easy to come by. I've only see 2 good blue dash pads in the last 10 years. One is in my 77 and that one is starting to crack. The other one I bought off Ebay a couple of years back but UPS decided 1 blue surviving padded dash was enough so they bent this one in half and destroyed it. When I did my Sprint I had "Just Dashes" make me one. But it aint cheap, $450 2 years ago.

Okay...Guess it's back to the drawing board. I have a good black dash pad (for the Grabber). I'll just look for a dash pad & dye it just like the black armrests I have. Thanks......

Hey Mavaholic, where are the rear USA decals available from? Mine are faded.
