    Well, I cant log in the normal way, but if I click on "Join our Community" it says I'm already registered as Mavaholic and puts me in my account. Do computer gurus have a hight suicide rate?

    Are you using your Windows Box to share your broadband connection? Perhaps that is causing some sort of conflict ... I never logoff MMB from my Mac at home and never logoff from my PC at work and never have any problems with the MMB.

    Dennis .. do you ever logoff or stay logged on always?

    I suggest you invest in a cheap router ...

    I usually never log off. I have tried with the Mac hooked directly to the cable modem and the windows machine unhooked, and with the mac linked to the windows unit with the windows unit hooked to the cable modem. Same results either way. It still bugs me that it does not work the way it should but at least I found a way around it without having to download and learn even more software.

    Last thing to try ...

    1) Log out of MMB on both machines.
    2) Clear cookies on Mac.
    3) Shutdown both machines
    4) Power off Cable Modem
    5) Count to 30
    6) Connect Mac directly to cable Modem ... I assume DHCP is enabled.
    7) Power on Cable modem and make sure it connects
    8) Power up Mac and try to login to MMB.

    I will give this a shot tonight. Another thing I notice is I had to sign on again this morning even though I did not log out and had the "remember me" box checked.

    I dont know how or why but the problem healed itself. It now logs on like it should. Nothing like a message board that automatically fixes problems.

    Could be. :D I also found out my mouse dosent have a right click button. Explains alot of other things I cant do.

    I'd put the wireless single button mouse you got one eBay and get a 2-button mouse ASAP ... you will be happy you did ...
