Thanks for sharing the pictures, Jeff! That looks like a super-solid car! BTW, I love the license plate! I would "ditch the hitch", too...
Got the 69.5 running, insured, and registered this summer. DMV had to mail my new plates and they neglected to send the plate stickers. I wrote them a letter 45 days ago asking where my stickers are. I think the letter went into a black hole at the DMV. So tomorrow I have to go wait in line to fix their mistake and try to get the stickers. I am guessing this will take about 90 minutes and they will probably try to charge me for "lost" stickers. Haven't been driving the 69.5 because even though it's registered they can ticket it for not having the stickers. Still needs tires, paint, and shocks. Otherwise it's pretty solid. Looking forward to putting some miles on it!
DMV knocked about $400 off the late fees. I signed a statement saying it had not been driven during the time it was unregistered. It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be ... still waiting for the stickers though...
Weird, in VA I can go to local DMV and get replacement stickers for $2... Late renewal fee $10... If it's expired long enough(not driven), you're issued new plates and registration at std price... BTW nice Mav, welcome...
