thanks again for all the help. I think I'm going to go over to the shop this week and talk with the guy. problem is, one hole is so damn big, I could nearly fit my fist through it. The washer idea isn't a bad one, maybe combined with a rubber grommet it would look perfect. I like the idea above with the individual lines going to a manifold, but I don't know if I have the time for that just now.
That is exactly what I have been planning to do. I'm planning to wait until I rebuild my front suspension to do it. That way I can use a welding magnet on the front to hold it perfect and then weld it from the back, inside the shocktower while the upper control arm is off. Then I can just do a quick grinding on the welds and not have to worry about makeing it look super nice since no one will ever see it. Figgure I will just skim the front side with filler so that it will totally dissapear after paint. At least that's the plan anyway.
well, I talked to the shop restoring my maverick, and we're gonna go ahead and shore up the holes, and make them look real neat and tidy. here is a shot of the damage on the inside dr side strut tower
