If I don't sell my motor at the end of this year (already have an offer) I'm gonna pull the vic. jr's off my motor and remove the heli-coils from the exhaust bolt holes and have them welded up and re-surfaced. Then I'll re-drill the bolt holes to the N style and hog the exhaust out!!

Well to bring this great thread up again...not clear if these work with a 351 windsor engine in the Maverick? Also Victor jr heads? Anyone done this yet?

Yes I need to know also..I'm running the Edelbrock E series head on a 351W. I would really like some feedback if this header would work.

    Thanks!

I never read anywhere that someone used these on a 351W, I was running them on a 347 (302 based engine).

Will these headers work with factory clutch linkage or only automatic trans?

Good question, I never tried them on a stick car. Maybe someone else can chime in.

So these headers only work for a 351, and wont work on a lil 302 with steal heads.

They work on a 302 base but not clear if they work with a 351 engine?

Looks easy if you use a cable clutch, nice big hole to run the cable through!

What about a stock z-bar setup? I was thinking they were made for a mustang that could have had a manual trans. Thanks for the reply btw.

How low do they hang under the car? Does anyone have a picture under the car from teh side that shows how low they are? I'm wondering about ground clearance since they're designed for a taller 351.

Here's a picture of them mounted on my 347. I never had any ground clearance issues.
