Actually, one of my goals is to make the event in Somerset on the weekend that you folks are headed that way. If possible, I will bring a Maverick, hopefully the Sprint I am working on right now. I pulled out the I6 250 and last Sat put in a 302. I painted the engine bay wimbleton white and am currently getting all the belts, hoses, radiator, etc to get it running. Then, a new dual exhaust system and brakes, maybe suspension. Then, well, you get the picture.

When is everyone going to Somerset next year? It takes me awhile to save up gas money for 800 mile each way trips now at $3.30 a gallon for 93 octane.

By the way, I have been through Albany many times on the way to Birdstown and Star Point on Dale Hollow. Also had a friend in southern Ind from there by the name of Donny Grider. His family owned a few businesses there, I understand. We both had Tenn. Walking horses.

I usually try and make it to every somernites cruise of the year but I will check in with Terry and Tony Hahn and see exactly when the KY state mini meet is going to be. I live right on dale hallow lake (less than one mile from wisdom dock) if you know where that is. I would love to see the sprint make it too, I absolutely love the looks of them.
