I don't see how someone could keep up with so many cars... I have so much going on in life, in general, right now, that I am considering getting out of the Mav 'business'. My cars are not getting the treatment they deserve, and I don't want to be one of those guys we all hate... The guy with a nice restorable car or two sitting out in his yard about to become part of the landscape. He won't sell it because he's going to restore it up real good someday. You see it a couple years later with an oak tree growing through the middle of it.
We have 3 1970 2 door 6 cylinder 3 speed 1974 Comet 2 door 302 1973 Maverick 4 door donor for the 1970
Who says we keep up with ALL of them. Some of mine are tagged, while some aren't. I can't afford to keep 13 Mavericks tagged and insured.
lets see not counting the one coop has dripping on his carport I've had 4 personally and between me and a buddy around 10 total over the years
1 69.5 Mav 1 '71 Grabber 1 '72 Comet 2 '73 Grabbers 2 '76 Comets 1 '73 Comet 2 '75 4dr Mav 2 '74 Mav 2 '77 Mav Of course other than the '72 Comet,they're all just part of my "safe haven for unwanted old Fords".
I have 8 now. I have physically driven 7 of them. 5 of them will start and move under their own power right now. Two of them are tagged, insured, and drove everyday.
one 1972 2 door, I-6 C4, two 1973 4 doors, one I-6 and one V8 both C4, and one 1973 two door, v8 C4. Only one of the 4 doors is a parts car - the rest are running driving machines!
Well, I'm up to 9 now. I just acquired a 72 Grabber but it will be a parts car only. It was another Katrina victim but there are lots of great hard to find parts on her. I can't change the poll so it still shows only 8 cars.
