Some people think....because their Maverick will run circles around others that it is a "Boss".....the "Boss" 302 has screw in freeze plugs......not too many around

We've got plenty around. (y) One of these days I swear I'm going to get one of my grandpa's Boss engines and stick it in a Maverick. I'll bet I would really hear some storys then. :) Has to be one of the most infamous storys attached to these cars. Gotta love it.

I am going to pick up some other parts also. If I decide to pass on the hood I can tell the guy I know where he can sell it:) . I'll see what all he has and let you guys know. I asked him about the "boomarangs" then explained what they are and he said yeah he has them. grill with lights(mine) small rear bumper with brackets, valance and filler piece(mine)sport mirrors(mine) He did say that there is alot of parts.:)

Oh I also have a line on a secret Ford junkyard. sssshhhhhh
I am going to check it out as soon as it gets alittle warmer ;)

Last grabber hood I had I sold it for $450, And it was not what I would call "excellent condition"
I have sold many rust free stock hoods for $100 to $125.

Well I have bought 3 rust free flat hoods and the most I gave for one was $50. No way in hell I would give $100 for one but if you can sell them for that then all the power to you.

Rust free hoods sell for more in rusty Maryland than in non-rusty Georgia. Same here in Indiana. :D

I'll bet you that if you needed one and wanted one, and thats all that was available, you'd pay the money. If the junkyards around here were full of them, then I could not sell them for that much.

True, but I live in the south and don't plan to move anytime soon, so I still wouldn't give that much for one. ;)
