    It was 1975, I was 18...and still got it along with 8 more.

    I got my first and current car in 2001, that would put me at 27 when I got it.

    And I got that same Maverick when I was 17 in 2005. The car was identical to the picture MikeG posted above, although not the same car he had. ;)

    It was 1971, I was 18 and it was the first Maverick in our area with a v8. Had alot of fun with that car and am looking to get another one like it. It was red with bucket seats and black interior. Added high rise, 4 barrel holley, 4 speed, hooker headers, the old cheery bombs with exhaust coming out in front of rear tires. Spent over 1k on that car in mods which was alot in 1971.

    I was 15 when I got my '73 maverick back in 1997. Finnaly got her back out this past week after a 5yr nap in the garage. Feels good to get her on the road again!
