fox body cars have a converging 4 link rer suspension (triangulated) makes a great drag/launching suspension...not so great for handling due to suspension bind
I never really looked into if the fox has any Pro-tour Band-aid arms to fix this issue like GM A-bodys have

If your sticking with stock style suspension you need arms tht either have spherical ends or swivel links to theirs no rear bind

otherwise you need an alternate setup like torque arm, 3 link, parallel 4 link or IRS..

BTW, A watts link such as Fay2 is worthless on a Fox bodys converging(triangulated) rear suspension
..the stock suspension already does the same job ...too good of a job as it binds too easily and why the upper/lower arms needs some type of spherical end like johnny joint, del sphere or roto joint

I can only guess that you're getting down into the nitpickery of an "optimum design".. because there are TONS of Fox's achieving over 1G with stock designs. Basic bolt on suspension parts and sticky tires will give you that and there's absolutely no "redesign" required to do it. Same with leaf spring setups too.

i'm not not nitpicking, bind is bind
its always been an issue with GM A and G-body, and fox body has same exact rear suspension design
ive linked bolt in items that fix the issue of the stock flaws

a watts/pan hard bar/mumford link is a waste on a converging suspension, along with $$$ and unneeded weight

those are axle locating devices..a converging 4 link forms a triangle which laterally locates/keeps axle center .

again parts ive listed in post #17 would be the optimum components to have bolt in parts to make care handle without reinventing the wheel with a custom rear setup to work under a fox

$548 dollars worth of parts to transfer a fox body into a great handleing bind free setup sounds like a hell of bargin..why spend more for less?
as for leaf springs, they can benefit from an axle locating device such as a fay2 watts link

As for shocks springs, you got coil over options..
or if you stick with coil springs best bet would be to see if Ridetech offers a Q series shock or if Hotchikis offers a hps 1.5 shock for your platform
both are Fox racing shocks which are about the best if not bilstein hp1000s will do well as those were top prior to the arrival to those ive just mentioned
