How to remove roof glue?

    I did this and, of course, made an experiment out of it.

    I marked off sections of the roof with the glue on it and used a variety of chemicals, some were downright DANGEROUS!

    Acetone, unleaded gas, goo gone, lacquer thinner, Xylene, 3m, lighter fluid. Nothing worked. Some would melt a little layer at the top then you would end up having to do a small section over and over about 5 times, then move on to the next small section.

    Ended up being sanding paper, I think it was 40 or 60 grit.

    Glue

    I used aircraft stripper, you must do in small patches and be extremely careful not to affect anything else like your chrome or window seals works like butter. (must be a high quality aircraft stripper or it wont work so well)

    I just got a sanding disc for my drill and thats been working decently takes a while but faster then sanding it all by hand
