I paid $750 for a headliner in a '77 Lincoln Town Coupe my Dad left me. Car was orginal and in mint condition. Not many two doors. I drove it on cruise nite to a local show with a for sale sign. On the way home I noticed a hole in the headliner the size and length of a finger just above the front passenger seat that I know was not there before! I think its a good idea to leave the windows up when you are not around the car at these events. Not everyone is a nice guy. The trim shop could not just replace the panel with the hole or just repair the hole itself. They said there would be a color difference. The car was black with dark red interior. I eventually sold the car at a good price to a doctor who just loved. It was a beautiful car with a 460 4V.

Let the glass pro do his job. He'll know what sealers to use where. Its a pain getting the new seal and window in. I work as a tech in a dealer with a bit of experience and I wouldnt attempt my windshield even though I know the procedure. I let our body man do it. Thats his job.

Fury, here is a tech write up where I installed my headliner myself. It pretty much shows how to do it yourself. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being the easiest, I'd say it ranks a 6 at least. The windsheild glass install is the hard part, you really need a helper to help ease the glass into position. Hope this helps you make your decision! :Handshake
