    Yeah ... I know ... but I can't leave well enough alone.

A friend of mine has a 1967 Firebird with a built 400 and a 4-speed. He had the engine detailed last year and had the shop remove his headers and put factory manifolds back on. Not only does it looks great ... it purrs like a kitten under the hood, growls out the rear and he says the engine compartment temps are much coolor. He also had no complaints about loss of get up and go ....

Like me ... he wasn't happy with the noise being generated from the engine with the headers installed. Also ... all that header heat can't be good for all those pretty stickers I have in the engine compartment! :)

THERE's the reason right there! Ha!

    Good choice for whatever reason.

That's Ralph Price's '71 Grabber here in Georgia. That car is unrestored and he is the original owner. :)

    Hey, Dan-
I saw an NOS single exhaust setup at Carlisle. Want the phone number?
    ;)

I also sent you an e-mail about an AM/FM Stereo radio. Did you get that?

Yeah ... thanks ... Craig was looking for a radio for me too ... I need the AM/FM Mono though ...

I just bought an NOS Y-PIPE for my factory manifold install. Gonna just cut the Y off and attach to the current H-Pipe.

Getting closer to the header removal and manifold install. I got the Maverick Snorkel installed and picked up the heat riser tube I ordered from the dealer .. it as to be trimmed down once I get the heat shroud on the manifold.
