I have two '73s. One has a package tray and the other has a glove box - but they BOTH have newer style armrests.

If the Torino was a different color, I would have traded the Sprint for it in a heartbeat. No BS.
Not that green on green is bad, it's just not 'wow' enough for me to part with the Sprint.

Nothing against Mavericks, but the 70-71 Torino is my favorite Ford, hands down, over and above any Maverick.

I saw the car at FFW. Other than needing a new vinyl top, it was a sharp Torino. I'm with Dave though, not a big fan of green cars.

Well, he went and bought a motorcycle Thursday night. 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic, 800cc. Has 8,100 miles on it, looks about like new. Got it for $3,500. Just something he can ride back and forth to work on and get good gas mileage. Seller said it gets a little over 50 mpg.

sucks that you got rid of the torino. my friend and his two brothers all have torinos. one 70 2dr hard top w/351c 2v matching #s , one 71 500 with a 351c 4v, one 70 gt with stroked 351c 4v, and another gt 351c matching #s.

Wasn't mine, it was my dad's. I'd still have it if it were mine. He only had that motorcycle for about 8 months, put 1,200 miles on it, then sold it and wished he had kept the Torino. I didn't say anything, but I was sure thinking "told ya so...". At least he sold both for a profit.

I'm going to sell him my 5.0 powered Fiat Spider when he gets all settled in at his new job. He wants another project, and I've been thinking about selling it for months anyway.
