looks like a lot of bodywork to me. unless it was real cheap i'd wait for a better body. JMO

I agree...and he he gets it running and it runs great, I'd go up to $1000 but no more. That car is gonna need a LOT of work.

I see a new hood, a lot of sanding and plastic filler, with rear quarters. What else am I missing? I also am offering south of 1G FWIW.

In all honesty, I would love to find a car that the body and interior is done on, and is just a roller. I havn't found any luck though. Heck I'd like to find a turn key, and I did see there was a Comet in the for sale section that caught my eye.

I'm going stay with the 600 I shot out before,...even though they are hard to find around here, they are still avalible, plus you'd be money and time ahead to find a nicer one to start with all depending on what your plans are for it.

with that vinyl top, you may want to check the roof for rust though as well, I've seen several around here that were pretty shot, the vinyl just covered it up.

    good luck

    :agreed:

My golden rule - you can only see 20% of the real amount of rust on a car.

I love pictures of old Mav's like that, gets me excited, good thing I'm not buying it, I would have give him what he wants for it, but I would think 700-1000 would be good.
