can you ony machine things out of billet or can you do things out of sheet metal also?

 

I don't think a grabber scoop would require a stamping machine.

 

they are pot metal. so either they can be carved out of billet alum. or steel or they can be molded and cast.

 

I like the clutch z-bar idea because I want one!

 

We dont work at all with sheet metal. Just aluminum or steel plate or round bar.

 

Your right....but i still cant make those. Or maybe i could but it would be time consuming to say the least with the way i would have to make some.

 

how about scaling down a bit and doing some billet emblems for door panels? that's something not available and should be fairly easy. it would be a nice touch for those running standard panels that wanted to add something "extra" to them....

how about making front bumper brackets for peope doing a small bumper conversion they are getting pricey on ebay and wouldnt require much work and could be sold quickley.

 

Thats funny i was just thinking that. I was in the garage and seen some on the work bench. Good idea.

Im actually am working on getting a machine for my garage. This something i have wanted to do for a long time. My work, well it sucks. From one day to the next i dont no if im going to have a job. So my wife said get one for the house. That floored me that she is supported my idea. So give me some time guys and ill work on some of these great ideas you all have.

 

hey how about center caps for wheels with the emblem on them

 

How about the little chrome piece that's in the grabber high back bucket seats..
or a billet steer head to go in the same place.
The guy in R.I. that dose the seat covers says there not available...
