It was tempting for me and I’m 2 1/2 hours away!

I thought about the FI Tech style units, but the runner length made me lean toward injectors placed a lot closer to the heads.

Thanks for posting the link. I have seen the FI Tech units used as a single four barrel replacement. Didn't know they also made matched pairs for dual quad setups. That may have potential on this manifold and tunnel rams, although probably work best on the regular low rise dual four manifolds.
It would be cool to see what could be done with this manifold. It does seem like overkill, and sometimes that is just enough .... lol

You really don't need a heat crossover on aluminum intake manifolds.

I would suppose you dont, but I have read that if you block your heat riser, you should switch your boosters (Holley) to ones that create finer fuel droplets to allow it to vaporize in the absence of heat.....but I will admit that reading stuff is a substitute for inexperience more than experience.

Yeah, if you're driving in 10 below zero weather. 60 degrees and up it's a non-issue. My Edelbrock Performer RPM has no heat crossovers. A friend of mine blocked his crossovers off (Weiand Stealth) to combat a heat-soak problem and it runs great that way.

You really don't want corrosive exhaust gases passing through that aluminum and the cancer it causes.

Old wives tales.....................I always block off the exhaust crossovers. And no negative affects from it.
