just my thoughts on it all. 25 years ago I bought my exmother inlaw a 63 impala for 250 dollars. it wasn't tricked out, but it ran and she needed a car. Some times I think back to the cars I have owned and the crazy prices they are bringing now. I dont really care if my comet ends up being worth a ton of money. I like the car and all the old school potential that I feel these cars have. no body really gave two cents about the vega, pinto or even the older monzas with small block v-8s. they have all gone up in price and make awsome little drag cars. And yes I too beleave that we as maverick and comet owners are holding on to one of the next rising stars in the car world. Parts are already getting harder to find and more expensive to buy. I also agree that these cars are on the edge of bringing 15 or 20 thousand on a restored resale, I'm just not interested in selling. cars and bikes have always been my passion and hobby and I have been blessed by owning and enjoying some of the now great muscle cars of the past. and that is where the "value" is for me. JUST MY THOUGHTS ON IT ALL.
