I'd rather drive it than sand it.

Not as jumpy indeed. Seems metacafe is faster than youtube right now too.

I saw what you said about backing out of it at 5:45.
The flutter you mention, is barely noticeable on the video...but the squeaky noise while coasting..assuming bushings on suspension sure sounds familiar from driving mine. That's really only the similar thing to our rides.
I also see what you were trying to describe in a earlier post about the sound it has, and I agree without hearing it, it would be hard to describe unless your a bard or something.

We don't have Ethanol mixed fuels up here yet...least not that I have seen. I know more than a few people who have bought the new Flex Fuel Vehicles , that are waiting for it too.

Interesting to hear you run E30, seems the FFV's are the only ones recommended to run E30 unless you built your motor just for that purpose.
But the interwebs is known to have a lot of miss information and that's where I read up on the ethanol fuel.
So you have a FFV maverick :D
Unless, I am miss understanding the fuel info you shared.

LMAO, It's the steering wheel doing it, it's been like that for over 12 years, it will hold off till the major work is complete.

I guess so, never thought of it as a flex fuel car --- but yah, so far it eats whatever i shove in it. The compression is the key to running E-fuels, at 13:1 or better i think it's safe to run, no problems so far. The only thing i would like to do on that side of is coat the inside of the tank and lines, water content is high in E-fuels.

Well go for the green route and Slap a Flex Fuel badge on it :D
Make them yuppie idiots jealous as all get.

I am now wondering if the noise I am hearing is my steering.
I have no clue to be honest. I have only driven it less than 100miles so far.
And was way to loud to hear it before the new exhaust.

I'm going to build a Boss 351 and try to run the E-fuel in it to, not sure how that will turn out, time will tell.

If you move your steering wheel without the car running, i think you should be able to trace down your squeak--- if it's in the steering system.

Going out to try that now..
On a second question what kind of mileage difference do you see from the flex fuels versus the standards.
The general noise on the net...who knows if any of them have even used it say worst mileage..like half. :burnout:

That is a great question Big, one i dont have an answer to -----> yet. I'm sure there will be a drop off, my brother - law bought a new flex fuel F-150. It dropped 3 mpg after the switch from 89 to E-85. But when you consider that full tank of fuel is only 15% gasoline, the mileage drop dosent matter.

Interesting. Yeah, I like the idea of a renewable fuel, and would love to see the mega surplus corn that we corn used as something other than a fatten-er in foods. :16suspect:drive:

I've always got better mileage with E85, on my F150.

4 Years of most of my weekends spent on it, thread has like 800 views, thats cool, but, ---- then i look at another thread thats 3 years old where someone basicly stripped the car body down with zip-strip and some razors, frankinstiened the front structure of the car, hasnt made a comment in over a year about it, and that thread has over 13,000 views. Wow ok.

I wouldn't worry about views. Lots of factors in that, web crawlers, indexing the site. A few people who posted in thread keep re checking due to ego issues.

If you rely on view counts to compare your build to another...would crush anyone. And its meaningless. I am tempted not to post any of my build on here for just that reason. I myself would care even though I don't want to... lol Human nature. :bouncy:

    Watching your other videos now.

Saw you had to disable comments on one of the videos.
Gotta love the 4chan mental patients, running around the net crapping on everything and hoooting and hollerin.

Yeah I have a lot better idea of what your build is now, from watching those. 4 years of weekends. I would say it shows! (y)

Do post more stick around and stay active though, helps break up the frustration and isolation of the wrenching and grinding..and building. :burnout:

Just because your thread doesn't have the view count you want you feel the need to tear someone elses apart?

If the word Frankinsiend offends you i will edit it out, i've driven cars that were put together with coat hangers ( IT WASNT A STATEMENT TEARING ANYONES CAR DOWN ).

I guess what i was trying to say is, majority should always rule, and CLEARLY the majority on this site would rather see a car stripped, structure cut <-- ( IS THAT BETTER ) and not updated for over 2 years then to see someone try to give a rust bucket new life.

As far as my post count, well when you have guys on here like Frankgt and MANY others that you know are WAY better at answering most post's than i would be, i just stay out of it because i wouldn't want to mislead anyone with the wrong answer to a question. Most of the time if i click on a post about something the answer to the question has already been given, so i keep my post's to my thread.

And BIG, thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are truely a kind person and i wish you all the best.
