Your welcome Igoback70. Thanks for the well wishes. People use view counts as a external validation of ones hard work. Specially on a forum where nobody seems to even comment on your build. There are a lot of ways we as people seek validation, from peers. That is just one of many. Sometimes its nice to know your work, passion, effort is appreciated.
DDB Enough said. You both felt the need to thread jack to say what could of been said in a pm. And yet you complain about my chatting?
What usually draws me into a thread or topic is the number of pictures. I am a visual person, its nice to hear what your doing but its better (for me) to see what your doing. This way I can make notes of what does and doesn't work for you and pick up ideas occasionally modifying or adding to them. Pictures of your valences are probably what kept me reading through the previous 6 pages along with vid. Keep up the good work
I noted that in your original post...I found it amusing. So are you in the state if Indiana or in the state of Hawaii? I am a little confused.
Just a little sarcasm Craig, seems you ask me that question alot. Anyways i wanted to try something with some pics, lets see if i can work this thing ( PC ).
Well don,t i feel like a dip....LOL i have try,ed MapQuest, Streets & Trips, and a good ole AAA Road Atlas. I can,t find Hawaii Indiana LOL. I figured with towns like Washington ,Georgia and Michigan city why not Hawaii Well any way you ride looks like its coming together nicely,Love the color. My son and i are putting mine on jack stands this weekend to start the same project. fortunately we just have to fix some shotty work from the previous owner.
Thankfully the only shotty work i have to deal with is my own, but it's getting there. Take lots of pics when you guys start, it's really neat to go back and look at the progress you made on the car. I had always thought that it only took me two months to build my motor, turns out after looking at the dates of the pictures it took two years. At least 22 months of that was just saving up for the build though. Heres a before and after.
Got a new shifter for her, sure is a lot more fun driving it, i had a top loader shifter rigged up in it when i first got it going, this one is much much better.
I guess I keep forgetting where you are at in Indiana. Ha, Ha. If you are close I would offer to come over and help you out.
I'm at the southern tip of IN, (Kentuckyana) and i'm beyond help. ( lol ) Found a better pic of the bottom of the hood, its better because its mounted on the car without the lights glaring down on it.
