Do me a favor and call the Henry Ford Company and see if they'll let me out of work today and tommorow, i need those temps on Sat and Sunday, i'm actually taking Thursday off but i have to go to a Funeral.
Gold you are going to be my goto man on this part then. When iget home tonight i'll dig through the screw and small bolts pile, take pictures and get you to tell me whats --- what
Found 3 of the four i need for the quarter winows, upon further inspection with a good flash light i could see all 4 holes were fine thread, the fun part will be trying to find that elusive fourth retainer ( those things are dinky and they've been laying in the package tray loose for about 6 years ).
Since it's so friggin cold and all i can do is dream about finishing my mav, i figured i'd share the FEW pictures i have of the last one i almost had restored. For those of you that dont know about the car, i had it done, new quarters, new running gear and fresh paint. It lasted all of two months, then it got slamed by a lady on a cell phone. The first picture is when it was first brought home, the only pictures i have of it in paint were taken after she slamed it.
Last one of it, she hit it dead center rear so hard it busted the gas tank. If you look close at the rear of the door you will see the new quarter wrinkeld.
Please stay off of the cell phones while driving, some of us cant just go out and buy the cars we like to drive.
The high today for us was 45 and windy, going to order the stereo tomorrow. That gives me a little something to look forward to.
Well the radio should be on it's way now, i decided to go with a Boss model and i am going to hang onto the trusty Pioneer for back up ( just in-case). The radio i went with looks really cheap in the pics, but it has the drop down feature i wanted.
