hey why don't you guys just get together and make an arrangement, then you can trade wiring harnesses and everything and save yourselves a whole bunch of time converting over.....That whey you guys won't have to both be hunting down parts like wiring harnesses and computers and carburetor intakes ect.... I guess the only thing you would have to worry about then is transmission kickdowns or TV cables ect...

The roller engines have steel cams....
    The non rollers have iron....
Mix and match and get lotsa metal in your oil pan;)

Mike I would not give up on the FI....

I was being serious. I can come get the car and we can fix it.......
I have a trailer......all that I would want is gas payed for.
and a smile on your face when it is fixed

Lance i appreciate the offer but its allready disasimbled. It took me a week or two to install and get running and 30 minutes to take all apart. I really like the look of the engine bay now. All that wireing is gone and its alot cleaner looking.........

that craigs list motor does seem like a good deal. you get your carb, manifold and a bunch of other little things that you dont get with new parts. you can probly sell that motor after you get what you need off it for $200 bucks.
I still would have liked to see you stick with the efi. you were so close. but its your car and so you have the final say. you should be able to sell the efi and be ahead money wise.

Thanks. I still need to polish the valve covers but they were cheap enough.
