    read my response in the original thread. I may have been 1badmav back then. I have seen wheels come up on the street. I only saw it once though. So it doesn't surprise me but it sure isn't common.

    I remember that thread, and have also done the washer motor trick.

    That was a pretty good wheelie if you ask me... but who knows if he was on DOT real tires, or DOT cheater slicks

    Suffice it to say, that wheelie was not done by your "normal street car." Power, traction, and tire improvements are obvious.

    My old 63 meteor had trouble keeping the front wheels on the ground too!.....I think because the shocks were shot,but let me tell ya lowriders with hydros had nothin on me!!

    The car in the video leaves like he unbolted the shocks and the sway bar and maybe has a ladder bar rear.

    Another trick we did back in the late 60's. unbolt the engine, (tied down with chain) torque picked the engine up and wheels would lift on the stout cars. No hair standing wheelies, but in the late 60's it was awesome!

    The video, aint no way in heck would I be standing that close to the wheel stander!

    i had a car that i couldnt keep the wheels on the ground. only it was because it was always on stands.it kept breaking down.
