So I have completed all engine work and am now moving to the interior. I have a 72 maverick grabber and am looking for steering wheel and front bench seat to bucket seat replacement recommendations. For the front bucket seats I'm just wanting to know which cars would have suitable seat replacements for the maverick.
The 71 - 73 Mustang bucket is the same, but you need Maverick/Comet bucket seat tracks or good fab skills to modify/make some. You can make almost anything fit.
After searching the junkyard for seats I bought and installed 2002 honda accord seats. Don't waste too much time as i did with the factory holes location. What i did is bolt seat to flat iron front to back. Drill new holes, level and bolt to floor. Not as simple as it sounds but as Jason stated a little fab skill and you can get anything to work.
