Hey, posting from my night job. Thanks for all the congrats and such. I got off work at 1pm and went straight to working on the car. The carb still isn't quite running right, but I took it around town with the open headers and caused a ruckus. We ran it against my buddy's 14.0 '64 Falcon and I came out on top (after driving plenty of miles and an oil change). Tomorrow, the sidepipes are being hung, my ears are ringing a bit from todays experience, although I did wear ear protection for part of it.

Are you going to make a recording before the pipes go on?

    Congrats

A couple years ago after a head swap, cam, and new headers I drove mine 18 miles with open headers to my favorite exhaust shop. I was worried I would get pulled over but I was getting cheers and thumbs up by cars I passed.

Maybe one night you can make it down to one of the cruises down here in my area in Arnold!!

Well, contrary to popular belief, sidepipes can be run with longtubes, but.........they can't be run with longtubes AND subframes, unless you want zero ground clearance. I have my entire brand new setup for sale.
