Go over to MaverickComet.com. Mark ( the webmaster) has a whole gallery of pictures showing how we fixed his car, including repairing the rusted out hood lip. It can be done if the rust is not too extensive. Don't worry about how ugly the car looks now. They all start of that way before they turn into swans.

Night mare the guy doing the work turns out has never painted a car from what i can tell put the primer on way to thick did not cover the Engine.. wheels and tires or my chrome tips that was $30 each i sent him on his way ... so now most the primer off the body ..engine cleaned up its ready for a road trip to get it done right
some times now wish i would have not started on it now..it did not look that bad like they say if it sounds to good to be true....it is
nope not at all....it will be there taking the car to wardfs...he is going to get it in primer...then i'm going to go pick it up for the round up then take it back to him to paint after the round up
Stephen, Dave has learned from me that a primered car is faster than a painted car.....he is pulling out ALL the stops for every last tenth he can Its only 2 months away!!!!!!! :bananaman
yeah john mines not set up to run all out for drag with 2 1/2 pipes out the back its a little corked up so ill take all the help i can get maybe put some glass doors on it drop a few pounds:bananaman
