    I figured with that kinda driveline in it, it wouldnt have any problem trailering the Mav.:)

    That is one great ride! Those T-Birds sit on the same chassis/platform as the Lincoln of the same year. They ride so smooth.

    I've had two 58 Tbirds over the years. Very cool cars. That body style you got is, in my opinion, the last of the good looking ones. You got one hell of a bargain there.

    1badmav...check e-bay parts cars or collector parts cars...search lincoln...there are 2...one black...one silver, both with the suicide doors...close to you too I believe.

    North of Philly badmav...a Town called New Hope. The car was for sale on e-bay but didn't meet the reserve so I contacted the seller after the auction and negotiated the price.
    The owner of the car and I spent almost an hour on the phone as he described the car down to the only light that didn't work (the hood turn signal light) The sequential taillights even work properly.
    Not a drop of fluid leaks from anything.
    The carb on the engine is not original. Can anyone tell me what this carb is? Carter maybe?
