Well here's mine (thanks to Old Guy's digital camera since mine gave up the ghost). By the way, this may be one of the last few pictures of my Maverick in Yellow. Haven't decided on a color/scheme yet, but I think 15 years of Yellow is enough.

Congrats on a great season and best of luck this coming season.

BTW, my friend Frank can help you choose a car color. :bouncy:

No, just one! the other one is still on the car...and it looks killer without a handle on it. The pass. door is also shaved, but much work is left to do to the bottom half of the door to smooth out the wavy sheet metal. Both doors are pinned on so they come off easily, makes working on it a LOT easier, especially considering that sometimes there just isn't enough room in a 2 car garage to do things. Fenders are next...unless someone wants to donate a pair to the cause that are straighter than mine are. This car was in pretty rough shape when I got it when I was..I think 16. RH door was beat in, RH fender had bullet holes in it among other things, bumper is bent up, stuff like that. Rest of the car is pretty straight with the exception of a few dings here & there (which are getting fixed as well) and I believe that once I get the decklid, wing, and shave the handles, it will be ready for a darker color. I had originally planned on white to cover up all the wavy-ness (like on my Mustang) but after a couple good looks at the Maverick, I think a darker color will look pretty dern good. Got a lot accomplished today...engine is built & back in, fired it up earlier and killed some braincells with methanol fumes. Kind of gets the heart pumping again when it's idling at 1400 and the car will barely stay still on the jack. Wish I had a digital video camera to share the sweet sounds of horsepower with the rest of ya'll but the money spent on one of those could be utilized somewhere on the race car to pick up a half tenth. A friend of mine told me I have my priorities wrong. Maybe she's right.

Just bought a 70 grabber that color. It had been sitting underneath a tree for the last 5 years with its original paint full of pitch, leaves, etc.Washed it and rubbed it out. That color is awesome.WOW I just might paint my Boss 351 that color! Just kidding.:yup:

Yes, it would have been so unsafe if it had not been for that piece of concrete. :D
