yes, its held by a shaft. i had to take out the pedal frame in order to have easy access installing the spring frame and other clutch pedal assesories. besides, i had to check if all parts are interchangeable or not by doing all the verification work. so the frame mount I6 will not work with the V8 z-bar? thought its the same as other members said so. can anyone verify ths?
i just received a message from AK (autokrafter) and they said unfortunately i wont get my V8 z bar due to out of stock . i guess i can tinker with other things and get moving
Did they say the are no longer getting them reproduced and cancelled your order? Or did they put you on a backorder waiting list? The last one I ordered from them took about 3 months to get ..
Due to bad economy and hardship of life during the recession, i have sold my maverick to a huge maverick fan. i know he will take good care of her and continue on restoring her. perhaps one day i can play with multiple projects when things get better... will always be a maverick fan, thanks for everyones help from the past, everyone was a great help. nice knowing you guys. i will be still here time to time to see what wonderful things you guys are doing to your rides.
That's too bad but that is the way life goes sometimes. You will get another one some day, that i'm sure of in time as it is hard to get that Maverick thing out of your blood. And hey stick around.

well, i thought i should give you guys heads up with me. since my mavrick has been sold a while ago, i managed to make my general (wife) agree to buy a classic ford again . first thing she mentioned is " it better not be a car!" , so we had bought a classic econoline van. i still get to have a v8 powered ford once again, but it isnt a maverick or a mustang , this way i can still be here to look for egine parts from you guys .
