Looks great, but you need to get those brake drums painted. I painted mine black, but you can use any color you want. Lee "THE MAV"ichart
I don't know if u can match the fac color on the brake parts. I don't think there is a lot of colors made for caliper/drums. That is a special paint designed to take the heat of those components. I do believe there is a gold color for them. Anyway, anything is better than rust---IMO.
Don't take this the wrong way but why would anyone want to show off their undersized brake components by painting them a contrasting color? I thought the whole purpose of oversized rims was to clear bigger brakes?
I've got 275/60-15 tires up front and 225/60-15 rear tires. I shot my drums high heat flat black and the paint has held up for over a year.
I've run those Nexen tires on my Mach 1 and they have been GREAT tires. They have been on for 4 years and still have a lot of tread on them. They are the summer tires. Great grip and I use them hard. I'd say there a GREAT tire for the price and I'd buy them again.
Do the 215/70/15 cause you any clearance problems? I am going to attempt swapping to a 205/75/15 on our 15x6 front wheels (currently 225/60/15), but was wondering about the clearance. Your 215/70/15 are not far from the 205/75/15. they are about .25 less dia, but a tad wider. I would think if the 215/70/15 works, the 205/75 should too. If they do cause problems, I will head towards the 205/70/15's.
After all was said and done last weekend, we ended up with: 15x6 w/3.5" BS with 205/70/15 15x8 w/3.25" BS (4.25" and a 1" spacer) with 245/60/15 the stance looks great. the backspacing would be perfect on a 15x8 with 3.75" BS, but we have what we have. To really make everything troublefree, I rolled the rear fenders. I am thinking that 255's might fit, but we have good miles left on the 245's.
ok good post I posted a thread similar but Ill delete it now this has everything I was looking for except it needs more pics 205 60 15 on the rear and 195 60 15 on the front I got these wheels on a deal thats why I have them
