Nice solid starting point. Comet GT's look good in white!

got the intake mnifold back and its killer looking but it makes all of the other greasy dirty nasty parts look even worse. now I got dynomat all over inside on the floors and the headliner area even some in teh wheel well area but I wnt to put more in just nows not the time. I bought a molded carpet from ebay and it looks really nice in the car. I have to finish getting the door runners in and a back seat before anyone gets pics.
I also finally completed the registration on the car so now I can drive it whenever I want. I took it about 45 minutes away on its maiden voyage to placerville to go check out a car show. it ran great with the exception of getting a bit warm on the way there and back.
I stopped to add water to bring hte temperature down and it was good to go again. I also go the fan shroud swapped turns out I had an I6 shroud on it so hopefully that helps along with some fresh clean water in it. thats it for now more soon

    time for an update
Ive been busy with this car trying to get it all fixed up. as of the last reply to this build thread I had just put in dynomat and took it to my friends place. well since then Ive been trying to accomplish any little thing I can when I can

okay since the last update I got all of this done
the rear end swapped out for a posi 8: with 3.55 gears
    aluminum radiator in
    just finished changing shackle bushings
    got headers on
    exhaust all welded up
    kyb shocks put on
got a back seat put in
and rear seat belts put in
got weld drag lite wheels on
    so making some progress

this is an older pic but you can see its coming together.
