I'd really rather not consider it (hoping everyone has a safe and uneventful trip) ...BUT if something catastrophic did happen to someone's ride, I have both a trailer and a car dolly that could be employed to drag a wounded car to my shop at home to make repairs. I'm only about 35 miles from Owensboro, so don't let that prevent you from making the trip!

And yes, closer to Roundup time, I will freely post my number for anyone who may have problems on the road.

I'd like to get in the convoy but I don't know for sure what time I'll be getting up there. My original plan was to leave the Gulf Coast early Wednesday morning going up I-65. As we go along and find out what everyone is going to do that may change. I think the convoys will be awesome. Maybe we should create a post for nothing but convoy plans or at least try to find out when everyone plans on heading out so we can try to put something together.:)

Ray I need to check the mileage to be sure but I think that will put us at the I-40/ I-65 junction around the same time. We can coordinate our departure times to make sure we arrive at that point at the same time. The guys coming out of Georgia that day could join you on 65 at I-20 in Birmingham. If the North Carolina guys are leaving Wednesday morning I can hookup with them on I-40. That would be a sight...merge two convoys together at once coming out of 5 states.

I'll be headed out Wednesday morning and heading to my brother in-laws in Loveland Ohio. I"ll be staying there wednesday night and heading to the roundup early the next morning......

Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think that's a good idea since he'll be about 5 hours out of the way this year......Oh well.....

Looks like i'll be heading out wednesday afternoon and probably stopping half way and finish the trip Thursday morning......but plans may change between now and then.....
