I forgot that these guys are former Ridler winners. Wouldnt it be funny if the Mav they are building is their next Ridler entry. Or better yet, winner.

That Maverick is possibly the " cleanest" one I've seen in a long time .. I wonder if they are going to " beef-up" underneath for a bigger engine .. Looks like they have a great start !!

Nice to see a reproduction hood for our cars! ITs appreciated. Of course im sure the guys on here that are going to shoot it down all have perfect show quality vehicles that this hood just wont be good enough for.

Being it will carry Dynacorns name, I feel pretty certain the "final" product will be a spot on reproduction, with correct body line, contours etc. Regardless where it is made, if Dynacorn provides the manufactuer with specifications (which I feel they will) I think the final product will be a superior reproduction in regards to thickness of the metal, body lines etc. For now, its the best we can hope for.

I would assume this is not the final product. I'm sure they will be some tweaking to tooling before production.

Dynacorn told me that its be manufactured in Taiwan and it won't be ready for distribution until early next year..Didn't know the price yet ... I would think $500 to 600 to ship it to America .. We'll see eh ? If the quality is
good I know two Mavericks that will be changing hoods next year .

From my experience with anything that Dynacorn has made, is the fit and finish is usually pretty good. Next year, it's too far away.

He did say he liked Dan Hines car.

I'm all for Maverick reproduction parts, but here's a thought; how about make them accurate.

It's no surprise that Foose doesn't wanna do a Maverick. if you notice, all those cars they do on Overhaulin' are easy to get parts for. They don't want to mess with a car that they have to scour junkyards, craigslist & eBay for parts. They've done some really cool cars but they've also done some cars that were lame compared to the Maverick.

I don't know what Jay's issue is. I thought he appreciated all types of cars if they are nice. Kind of disappointing since I've been a big fan of his (car) show.
