When I would turn the key to the on position I use to get this, like energizing sound. Today while I was driving down the road the car died and couldn't get it started again. When I got it back the my garage I no longer heard the sound. Is anyone farmiluar with the sound I'm talking about? If so what is hat sound?
to the forum! Has someone put an electric fuel pump on your car? That is what I'm thinking you are hearing when you turn the key on. If that stopped working then you wouldn't hear the energize sound and you wouldn't get any fuel and that would cause the car to die and not restart.
I decided to just start taking the engine apart as I was doing so I decide to use an inspection camera because one of the spark plugs was destroyed. It turns out that one of the Pistons was completely destroyed. I thought about rebuilding the engine but in the long run a new engine is better.
