Cliff made it to my place just fine. He spent the night. He's leaving for home this morning. I only had one slight problem on the way home. Got to Sacramento to drop off my broken rearend, for repair. And noticed coolant on the ground. The tranny cooler had rubbed a hole in the radiatior. Just so happened we were in a grocery store parking lot. My wife bought a bottle of cinnimon. Worked great! Stopped the leak & smelled good also. What a wonderful trip. To bad Derrick can't handle a road trip, in his Maverick. We drove straight thru, too.... Derrick would need to stop & sleep (poor baby). :drive: I guess when you're young, you can't handle the distance. Or maybe, he needs his beauty sleep....:rofl2: It was a 2,500 mile round trip, with all the driving around L.A. Did manage to see all the attractions (Disney, Knott's, Universal). We also did some out of the way places (Queen Mary, Long Beach Gran Prix course, & Westcoast Chopper's). I met Jesse James & shook his hand. Lot more exciting then when I met & shook hands with Derrick. :D Busy & productive week for all.

Was really great to meet everyone. Always nice to put a face with the name. Was great seeing so many Mavericks/Comet, in one place. Had fun driving all over L.A. & getting lots of looks, & thumbs up! I hope to be able to attend again next year, or maybe the Reno meet. We'll see...

Yes, cinnimon! I've used black pepper before (makes you want to sneeze), LOL My wife told me about the cinnimon. It worked great. I guess it gets sticky & gooie & plugs the hole. All I know, is it works. So, I carry cinnimon in my driving/repair kit, in the trunk now.

Great pics! Yeah, it was a good turn out. Naturally, with my semi ratty exterior, I made sure to park several blocks away and walk in, but it was still fun.
We'll have to do this again next year!

(Yes, I was the one in the dark glasses and ball cap....blended in real good, don't ya think?)
