Sooner than you think, you 'ol poot. The car is at another guy's shop, so I am at the mercy of his schedule and I only get to work on it on weekends. I can't do anything to the car this weekend because John is on vacation. I am working on interior pieces (changing colors) and trim pieces (polishing) this weekend so they can go on the car next weekend.
Looks great, is that a Boss scoop on it? Cause I like Boss scoop on Mavericks. Like the color, it's better than the Taurus color, seems to have more courseness to it.
Cmet GT, Torino GT, Mach 1 scoop. John did something to the paint to make it pop like it does. I'm not sure what. We also put a black sealer over the primer and that helped darken the color and bring out the metallic look.
Its a shame your stuck with a black interior. A white, tan or silver interior would really set that color off.
One uses what one has. I had a black carpet and dark gray seats. According to the wife and daughter, "white is to hard to keep clean" and "tan is yucky." I had acquired a complete blue interior because we originally were going to paint the car a dark metallic blue. Black is a good color to change colors of dark colors. I am using a charcoal black on all the trim pieces. That gives a semi-sparkly look to contrat the trim black.
I'd have to agree. I don't know what it is, but I just do not like tan interiors. I actually talked my dad out of buying a Mustang once because it had tan interior. Talked him into buying one that was white with black interior instead.
gorgious... the colour is great and the scoop fits very nicly, thats the sort of scoop i'd like to see on my beater.
Ahhhh, Ray, Ray, Ray. I'm just trying to see how long it takes for the saw dust between your ears to catch fire.:evilsmile
