I pulled the rear inner fenders liners out (the plastic things) and shot compressed air up in the openings in the cowl, then washed it out good, but I'm still getting the odd small leaf in the car from time to time.

when i first looked at the car before i got it i thought the vent lever was the hood latch release, i thought i broke it when the hood didnt pop when i pulled it out. spent the next 5 mins trying to figure out how to open that d@mn hood before the owner asked what i was doing under the dash lol. but anyway, I too got the face full of dirt on the way home.

another note on hood releases...ever notice the top center section of the grille missing??? i think people stick their hand in there and think the latch is stuck, pull on it untill the grille breaks..:slap: the first few i saw i thought someone cut it out to get to the latch. then after i stuck my hand in there a time or two i went with the breaking idea.

Yep... I got a Sprint Grille in the junkyard a while back. It would be a perfect grille, if it wasn't broke right there. :slap:
