    The plate on my Comet ...

    For some reason, the thumb won't link to a larger version ... it says "NO MAVRK", I made the plate up because so many people would walk up at cruise nights and say, "hey, nice Maverick" .... it saved me from telling them to look at the fender badges.

    These are what are hanging in my garage ...

    LIGHT EM was mine and DIAL IN was an extra plate from my buddy. We used to bracket race a lot. That plate was on his 72 AMX and later a Grand National.

    And yes, Garlits did run for Congress here ...
